What if your driving habits changed someone’s life forever?

Every motorist, pedestrian, bicyclist, emergency responder and highway technician is someone’s daughter, son, mother, father, sister, brother or friend.

They deserve to go home to their loved ones, and they’re counting on you.
Every choice you make behind the wheel matters. One moment of inattention, impatience or intoxication could result in a life lost, a family devastated and a community grieving.
Even careful drivers can form bad habits over the years. WHAT IF you choose to break yours today?

Slow Down and Move Over

When you see highway technicians, emergency services, or a fellow motorist on the roadway or shoulder, slow down. If safe to do so, move over a lane and give them some room.

Put Down the Phone

Even a quick glance to read a message, send a text or dial a number can divert your attention long enough to miss a stop sign, overlook a pedestrian or swerve toward another vehicle. Nothing on your phone is more important than someone’s life.

Share the Road

It costs nothing to respect your fellow roadway users. Use your turn signals, reduce your speed, check your blind spots and drive with others in mind.

Stay Focused

You may be a great multitasker at home and work, but you only have one job in your vehicle – to drive safely. Keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.

Drive Sober

Driving sober is a matter of life and death. When you choose to get behind the wheel under the influence of any substance, you’re gambling with your life and the lives of everyone around you.
